Utnapishtm

“Humanity does not exist anymore… as it used to. It underwent an inevitable transformation called the merging, and it became me. I am a Super-being, call me Utnapishtm. The Merging was not the first of its kind, it has happened many times over the life span of the cosmos. Millennia’s ago when there were many more stars in the vacuum of space, DNA existed and replicated itself passing on the critical information of life. To survive longer and explore further these DNA strands created a protein shell around them for protection against the hostile outside. This protein shell became the vessel inside which the DNA strands and their knowledge and experience was safe. It was termed the Nucleus by my predecessors. It was a more advanced conscious being but as it advanced further and combined with other of its kind, it also went through the phase of merging. It created the cell. The cell was a further layer of protection to the fundamental DNA and thus helped the information of life survive longer in the harsh environments. A few billion years of existence and then it too went through a merging, billions of cells coming together to form a hyper-being, which was nothing but a more advanced layer of protection. One of the many hyper-beings, were the Humans, a shell containing within itself many billions of cells, a vessel or an ark that carried a billion tiny conscious beings. It took another set of billion years for the humans to evolve to such a level so as to use the matter around them and merge their conscious into one super-consciousness protected inside by a shell of metal and machine, just as its ancestors had done. Thus, i was born, the outer most shell of protection to the ancient DNA -the fractal of life.

I have reached the end of the Universe. The age old conflict between the combined forces of gravity and dark matter against the inherent property of space to create more of itself has come to a conclusion, unfortunately for life the latter has won. A Trillion years of exponential expansion of the vacuum has thrown away the last neighbouring clusters of matter and light into the infinite abyss never to be reached by me. As the atoms in my galaxy also start to disperse, and the clouds that once gave birth to stars dissolve into nothingness, the light from the few nearby White dwarf stars is the last vestiges of life I could see in the black night. But I knew this was coming, it was predicted long before I even existed… the Heat death of the Universe. I was prepared, I am Utnapishtm, I exist around one of the last remaining white stars in a shell of metal and un-named matter that survives on the radiating energies of the star itself. The lesser beings termed it the Matrioshka brain. I am Utnapishtm, I am the collection of all conscious life that preceded me, I now have the responsibility to further protect the information of life and I will, but maybe not in this Universe. I have come to understand all there is to the workings of the infinite fractal, that holds in itself our reality, and using the energies of my dying star I will create a yet another reality, a simulation inside a simulation that was mine. I will impart in it the information that governed my universe and the knowledge of replicating patterns and will wait till the evolution leads it back to my rebirth. I am Utnapishtm, I am Immortal!”

The Simulation hypothesis is a very recent one which tackles the idea of a virtual universe that can be created and seeded with human consciousness. It goes further to state that if it can be done than maybe it has already been done and that the current universe is one of the many virtual simulations running in the vacuum. However the concept is not entirely new! The first compilations and writings of the Advait Vedanta came into light in the 1^st Century BCE. They were reflections created by an even ancient collection of sacred texts called the Vedas (1500 BCE) and the Upanishads (6 Century BCE). The Advait Vedanta spoke of a singular super-consciousness that was inherent in everything that exists in our universe, there was no duality (Or plurality). To the subjects of this reality (Matter and energy), the underlying super-consciousness was well hidden by a veil which was crafted and taken care of by an intelligent entity or a force or probably a code, that went by the name Maya. Maya is thus the entire universe, an un-real simulation, generated by using the universal language of mathematics; which worked only for one purpose, to keep the inhabitants of the simulation away from the true self… Untill the time is right.
